Responsible Sourcing

We seek to source minerals through lawful, transparent relationships that respect people, communities and the integrity of the supply chain. Commercial urgency does not override our requirement for credible origin information and appropriate documentation.

Before working with a supplier, we review identity, ownership, relevant licences, operating location and available production history. We may request additional records or independent confirmation where information is incomplete or risk is elevated.

We require origin and chain-of-custody records appropriate to the material and transaction. Consignment records are checked as material moves from the source through verification, processing and export. Material with an origin that cannot be reasonably established is not accepted.

Declared weight, purity and grade are checked using appropriate screening and independent laboratory processes. Documentation is reviewed against the physical consignment, and material may be held or rejected when results or records do not align.

We expect suppliers to comply with applicable labour, safety and environmental requirements. We seek relationships that support fair dealing with licensed artisanal cooperatives and other producers, including clear commercial terms and prompt settlement for accepted material.

Warning signs may include inconsistent ownership or origin records, unexplained intermediaries, irregular transport routes, unusual payment requests or credible concerns about unlawful activity or harm. We may pause due diligence, seek further evidence, decline material or end a relationship when concerns cannot be resolved.
